I was looking for a venue that had something different and none that I’d visited really did it for me. I stumbled across the website and was intrigued by the venue and the name and made a viewing appointment.
When we arrived it completely took my breath away and that is the response I got from all my guests. It really is ‘a secret garden’ with lots of amazing little areas to visit, the children had a wonderful time and ran freely around playing.
I can’t honestly pick one part of my day that I enjoyed the most, from start to finish it was amazing. I was lucky to have beautiful weather which was amazing with my laid back wedding, outside BBQ, face painter, ice cream, candy floss and popcorn… it really was a dream come true.
I originally chose not to have the silent disco thinking it would be nice to end it before hand. Pat brought a set of headphones out for my son and he was thrilled. I can honestly say it was one of the best points of the wedding and an absolute talking point. My 2 year old son loved it, as did every other guest and I was one of the last ones on the dance floor with my headphones on!
I can’t praise Pat and Rebecca enough for their help throughout the planning process, always on the end of an email or phone happy to help and Pat on the day – you couldn’t get a more friendly, laid back, lovely host. I’ll never forget how she took care of my mum when she turned unwell for a short period; she went above and beyond.
I can’t thank all the staff enough, they were fantastic on the day and it was so lovely to have a secluded, bespoke venue.
The Secret Garden is truly a beautiful venue that really gave me the most magical day, I wouldn’t have gotten married anywhere else.
