From the moment we visited The Secret Garden we were giddy at the thought of our guests seeing this quirky and beautiful venue. What sealed the deal for us though was meeting Pat. Not only was she accommodating and welcoming, she put our minds at ease and we felt that we trusted her to run our day exactly how we wanted – which can be a big ask!

Our big day was the most perfect day of our lives and we wouldn’t change a thing. Many of our family and friends commented on the day itself and afterwards that it was the best wedding they’d been to! The laid back atmosphere and beautiful surroundings played a big part, but the service and running of the day was seamless, I was never worried.

The ceremony itself was magical, the ‘big entrance’ I made walking from the house into the conservatory was so exciting and I couldn’t stop grinning! It was definitely my favourite part of the day and the part I often daydream about.

We kept the silent disco a secret from our guests as we didn’t want any preconceptions on the day. I’m pleased that we did that as it gave the surprise element we wanted, and it couldn’t have gone better. Everyone loved it and loads of people asked us how we came up with the idea – we couldn’t take the credit of course, it was all down to Pat.

I’ve recommended The Secret Garden as a wedding venue to anyone who’ll listen, we think it’s fab and we’re thrilled that we were lucky enough to get married there.
